About the Area
“Stay Here. Play Everywhere.”
The slogan of “Stay Here. Play Everywhere.” was created because Montrose is in the middle of some of the most popular towns to do things in. You can go Ice Climbing during the winter months in Ouray, Colorado. Ridgway is only about 25 minutes away and offers river tubing, paddleboarding and lake fun, mountain biking, and hiking. Don’t forget to go camping in the summer months!
Montrose, CO is home to the Montrose Water Sports Park and the largest Rec Center on the Western Slope.
